Home-Style Baked Beans
I swiped this recipe off of the Mr. Food Segment on our local TV News. It is a pretty simple recipe that you could make with any of Envirofit's Rocket or Charcoal Stoves. To make it a little easier I would just make it in a pot or dutch oven, and fry up the bacon first in the same pot, and crumble up your bacon, before you throw in the rest of your ingredients
What To Do:
- 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2 (28-ounce) cans baked beans
- 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
What To Do:
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- In a 9- x 13-inch disposable aluminum pan, combine all ingredients; mix well and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Place pan on grill and cook 20 to 25 minutes, or until beans are bubbly and heated through, stirring occasionally.
