Home-Style Baked Beans

I swiped this recipe off of the Mr. Food Segment on our local TV News.  It is a pretty simple recipe that you could make with any of Envirofit's Rocket or Charcoal Stoves.  To make it a little easier I would just make it in a pot or dutch oven, and fry up the bacon first in the same pot, and crumble up your bacon, before you throw in the rest of your ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2 (28-ounce) cans baked beans
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar

What To Do:
  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. In a 9- x 13-inch disposable aluminum pan, combine all ingredients; mix well and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  3. Place pan on grill and cook 20 to 25 minutes, or until beans are bubbly and heated through, stirring occasionally.
